Terrie Canney Ellis
Last week Ted's best friend in Tennesse passed away. Canney and Ted grew up together and lived just down the road from each other. As young boys they spent many a summer's day fishing and getting into mischief along the banks of the Doe River. The bonds that were formed there last their entire life. Ted and Canney also shared a love of muscle cars. Ted could always give Canney a call to ask his advice about a problem or price for a hot rod. Canney was a Vietnam Vet, and a faithful friend. He was one of those guys who valued his word. He was a craftsman and really put his best into whatever task was before him. He loved his country and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Canney visited us several times in Mexico Beach and he loved the area. He was planning to return this fall.
